Spice Of India

Spice of India is truly a sophisticated Indian restaurant situated in the heart of Rodney Bay. With over 20 years in the industry, Chef Adil has travelled across the Atlantic Ocean creating scintillating dishes to satisfy the palates of eager patrons throughout the Caribbean. Along with his Sous chef, Chef Adil celebrates his love of cooking by bringing a modern flair to the ancient, traditional IndianTandoor technique of cooking to St. Lucia.  Diners can enjoy watching the Chefs in action in the open display kitchen or gain personal lessons from the chef himself. Come and enjoy our cuisine that includes traditional favourites and new delectable choices. Big Chef Steak House

Chef Rosie Joinville was a top student at London's Cordon Bleu Cooking School; with her diploma in her pocket, she travelled the world, cooking on a floating hotel in France, hotels in Hong Kong and even on a sheep farm in Australia. On return to London, Rosie taught at the Cordon Bleu, until one of her students offered her a job – he was a restaurateur in St. Lucia. Her wanderlust tempted again, Rosie packed her bags and set off to begin a new career in the Caribbean. She ran several restaurants in St. Lucia, including the legendary San Antoine, and taught Culinary Arts at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, where she helped to set the Associate Degree programme. From the prestigious resort kitchens of Windjammer Landing, to the pages of SHE Caribbean Magazine, Chef Rosie Joinville has proven she can do just about anything in the kitchen; at Big Chef Steak House she makes all the wickedly rich desserts.

Big Chef Steak House is located in Rodney Bay Village, St. Lucia's tourism hub, renowned for its beaches, shopping and nightlife. The restaurant is within walking distance of many of the top hotels, and a short drive from the majority of the others. Diners wishing to work off some of the calories after dinner have a choice of a number of bars and nightclubs in the area that are open until late at night.

 Coal Pot Restaurant

In 1948 a huge fire, with a rage a verger, ravage through the heart of Castries. The Alcee family found refuge in the historical Vigie carnage where one appear a time the fleet of Admiral Rodney were refitted after battle.

A young 18 year old American boy "Bob Elliot" set sail from Spain and became in 1958 the world's youngest man to sail across the Atlantic single handedly.

In the 1966 Bob and his wife built the Coal Pot Restaurant on his stepfather land. The Coal Pot has been a family business from then and has been protected by a very large canon found in the bottom of the marina and now located on the outside patio.
